  • Born in Warsaw, Poland, now living and working in Britain


  • B.A in Fine Art, University of Newcastle upon Tyne (John Christie Scholarship, The Hatton Award, Newcastle University)


  • M.A History of Art, Courtauld Institute of Art (1st class honours with Distinction) Since then has worked, among others, for BBC Radio External Services, and lectured freelance at numerous adult education institutions in London, and art galleries such as the Tate Gallery, National Portrait Gallery and the National Gallery where she works to-date.
